this type of obnoxious sneeky business practice has become the norm. The psychology that is employed on the consumer assumes we are all so busy that we wont notice or take the time to recover or not care about an amount as low as 39.95 is absurd. First trick is while you initially activate the software there is a small disclaimer on at bottom of page 2 with the usual pre checked check box allows pctools to "automatically RENEW" your subscription. ok? so now 1 year later you begin to get "last chance to save" emails i assumed it was an offer to renew the subscription. Had no idea it was the last chance to prevent the automatic theft from my checking account. The truly sad part of all this is that the software is an absolutely great product. I have been recommending to customers for over a year now. Now they too will soon have an automatic renewal. I will give them the heads up. I am going to find an alternative solution from an american company that stands on the merits of its software and does not employ sneaky " we know better that the end user " psychology. I am not angry ive gotten used to being taken for an idiot on SW installation pages. I keep a mental note of the products that are trying to sneak into my browser and install against my knowledge , I consider this type of tactic as being the same as a virus. If i wanted The (Inappropriate Content Removed) GOOGLE TOOLBAR on 5 lines at the top of my customers browser i'd have installed it by myself...The bozo's that think this is a pretty slick way to market the software solution they make , should spend more time making the software ...i suposse there are plenty of people that fall for it and probably end up paying for the product just to get it to go away....isnt this the same as extortion?ok ok for an easy way to get your refund from pctools here is the toll free PCTools talk to a person quickly number 800-764-5783 if you want your money refunded its as easy as asking toll free PCTools talk to a person quickly number 800-764-5783 toll free PCTools refund phone number 800-764-5783 toll free PCTools refund phone number 800-764-5783 toll free PCTools refund phone number 800-764-5783 toll free PCTools refund phone number 800-764-5783 toll free PCTools refund phone number 800-764-5783
