Honestly I don't know what happened in the first place. However I am 100% sure i did not subscribe to this at all. in any case, my phone has been restarting itself as of two and a half months ago, which is around the same time that this whole fiasco has started. I am actually curious if the restart is what triggered the subscription? Or if its a internal problem and has nothing to do with the subscription.
Anyways, I looked at my bill for last month and noticed there was a significant amount of extra costs and it said I was getting short code messages in the sum of ($20 for two months ago and $40 for last month) $60 CAD. which is ridiculous. Why should I pay for something that I did not sign up for. Even if someone signed me up via my own device, texting STOP to 88080 did not resolve my solution, they said they will unsubscribe me but continued to send me texts. I called my SP and they said they cant do anything due to it being a third party program. couldnt even block the number/sender. im afraid i might have to reinstall my phone and change my number if nothing is done to resolve my issue.
