Before I has I-pass I used the cash lanes and automatic coin collectors. I have always paid my tolls and often more than my toll if the automatic collectors aren't working properly. Even though I filed for a hearing they denied my appeal and billed me an additional 40.00 on the two .80 tolls they said I didn't pay. This tollway system is sucking people dry by nickle and diming them to death. The Illinois Tollway Department should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of citizens that fall prey to their inoperable coin collectors.
