I applied for a loan with Williams, gave them (stupidly, I admit) my bank routing number on-line,--this was all on-line--and then, five minutes later, came to my senses and send them an e-mail to cancel my application. Yesterday my bank processed the $19.99 fee. I got it reversed early today but was charged $25.00 for this service by my bank, which has ruined my holiday weekend! They make it hard to contact them,--they use Outlook Express--and they have no toll free number to call. I want them to cancel my "deal" with them, want nothing further to do with Williams. They are a scam and I must partly blame myself for giving in to a holiday impulse that has turned out to be catastrophic (I'm only part-time employed, the money meant a lot). The bank advised me to change my routing number, told me to beware of such things in the future. If I don't hear back from Williams (and maybe if I do) I'm going to contact my state's attorney general's office.
