A EHS guy called me and said that I had not booked my hotel for a coming conference in London. I don't know how they got my contact information. The conference organizers denied that they leaked my registered information to them. This guy provided me a hotel rate with a reasonable price then and said I could cancel or change my reservation in any time. However, he didn't tell me they would charge additional 25% service fee on top of it. Following his instruction, I was charged 609.85USD from my credit card. Later, when I received my bill, I canceled my reservation before the deadline they allow to cancel. They responded to me that they would refund me back the collected amount. After waiting for 2 months, I have sent them many e-mails but have no response. I cannot believe US can have this company exit in the country.
