We purchased Beats Studio headset 2 for our son. After less than a year of normal use the hinge where it is designed to fold stated getting lose and finally broke. When we sent it in to there support they said it was due to undesirable usage and they do not warranty the hinge only the circuitry. They said they would replace it for $149. Bottom line it sounds like if the problem is in the electronics they would replace it but the shell has not
guarantee. I told my son if he wants a good set of head phones don't buy Beats. Go with Sony, Bose or Beyerdynamic. The cost is about the same but the quality is far better.
