I rented this apartment through the agency and I haven't got any of the keys of the internal doors, plus the key to one of the locks on the main door and the key to the garage door. I reported this upon moving-in. After a few weeks, they sent someone to check. The guy kept telling me that I shouldn't lock those internal doors; I asked in that case, can they remove the locks so that no one will be accidentally locked out. They said they would investigate. Then weeks passed, I chased up with two emails, but got no reply.

Today I had another issue with the internet cabling in the building. I rang up the office. The property manager immediately tried to explain to me the issues about the keys. Her argument was I shouldn't lock those doors anyway, no one should I kept out from (accessing the toilet, the bathroom and the bedrooms). But in fact, they don't have the keys and don't want to change the lock. I was quite upset by her tone and saying I have to consult the authority. The manager then just hang up the phone on me. When I just call back, the receptionist blocked me by saying the manager has done talking to me and she was contacting the owner.

I don't understand how this unprofessional service provider can still be in the market place.
