This is what happens when you visit BMW West with $53,000.00 in your checking account... Read my experience with buying a car from these people...

If you are buying a vehicle from Momentum BMW West, then you are making a HUGE mistake.


First, the sells process is entirely too lengthy, (about 5 hours). I think that they do this as some sort of sales tactic to wear you out. They are NOT clear about prices, interest rates, down payments, or inventory until they have drafted up several contracts trying to get you to sign. All seems scammish.

(I mean, if you walk into a BMW dealership with the intentions to purchase a BMW, then there is no real need to do this.)


I ordered the window tint as one of my vehicle add ons. They where able to do a fantastic job with the tint, but my back seats had huge kneecap sized impressions, which loosened the Dakota Leather that never quite went away. Also had chemical stains all over the back interior portion of the car, which I was able to clean up. Thank God. And this on a $45,000 car that was 3-DAYS OLD!


If you have service done on your car, expect to get a loner car that smells funny and have bands of used chewing gum all over it.


Their service department is a complete joke. No structure or order whatsoever. People are running around as though they are "busy" although there are no customers in the dealership because either

A. They have horrible service (most likely)

B. The economy is bad, and people can't really afford a BMW.

Service department does not conduct service around your time and make things easy for you... (which is the service that you expect from BMW--- its NOT there with these people at all.) They schedule their work when its best for them. Had a slight issue with my "Brand New" vehicles tire, and was told to come back 3 days later, although Advantage BMW Midtown fix the issue the SAME DAY, since the issue was a road hazard!


Order several items from the dealership and never got them. Was sent an e-mail with a bogus tracking number. Called and e-mailed repeatedly to get a correct tracking number. Never could get into touch with the accessories department, until I called my bank to see if I could dispute the charge, then magically, the accessories department answers the phone?! Was finally provided a tracking number then, which stated that the item was already delivered, although I never received it. First time I ever had a package STOLEN from my doorstep (wonder who could have done this??????) Only live 5 miles away from the dealership but the only reason why I had the items shipped to my house instead of picking it up is because this location makes me want to vomit every time I walk in there.


I will never revisit, recommend, or even touch a BMW from Momentum BMW West again. These people have done the impossible, make me slightly hate BMW altogether.
