I was called this evening about 10 times on my cell phone from a so-called lawyer's office concerning a loan from Cash Advance USA that was supposedly deposited in an old bank account of mine at Midfirst bank here in Oklahoma.The people calling had Indian accents and were very rude. They refuse to give straight answers and the more questions you ask, the more angry they got. They told me that I owed $457.00 and the matter needed to be resolved right away or they would proceed with court, i would be arrested by a Sherriff, and spend up to 4 months in jail. This seemed to be very serious, although I have never borrowed any money thru Cash Advance. Midfirst said they wouldnt handle things in this manner, and when i looked up a number for Cash Advance on the internet i see there is a scam alert and that is what led me to here. I hope these people are caught very soon. I was very scared and frustrated on the phone. They got no money out of me but almost did. Be aware of these people! They have access to lots of personal information.

- Yes, I have taken loans out and these people have access to those that have taken legal loans from legitimate companies. They have called me at work! Very rude, very serious just as you said. Thankfully I do not owe any more money, but there are sorry ppl out there that have tried to scam me anyways. Changed bank accounts just to be safe. I think these ppl operate on Indian reservations and that protects them somehow? thx for sharing
