I bought an affiliate marketing website from YourOwnStore.co.uk 8 months ago. I paid $8915 for it. The minimum potential earnings for the store were $95000 and the EPC (earnings per click) had to be $1,3.

I used to spend about 30-35 hours a week with my store, instead of 2 hours per day recommended. My website is 100 percent optimised for 6 months already. Most of my category (subcategory) articles are over 600 words or even 800 words (recommended - 400 words). I used to write 2 blog posts a week and submitted over 40 unique (not spun) articles to article sites. I created youtube videos, promoting my website and etc. I was doing everything according to Your Own Store training. I worked really hard for 8 months and now I have over 1500 backlinks and google pagerank 3.

There were 2740 visits to my site and 2006 direct clicks to the retailers in the last 6 months. But..... I have earned only $144 commission. That means the EPC is only $0,04 instead of £1,3 promised..

I paid almost £5000 for my website and I am absolutely not happy with the investment.

YOS are not responding to my tickets and not fixing bugs in my website. They even closed the owners' forum.

I feel cheated and want to get my money back, I paid for the business that is not running as promised.

Bright Light Media Ltd also created the new websites selling companies as yourtravelstore.co.uk and myjobwebsite.co.uk. They continue selling the websites that will never be profitable.
