I purchased an 'online proven internet business' (Your Own Stores words, not mine) franchise, Estimated earnings were $82000. After a very short time it became apparent that the earnings from this site were never going to approach the quoted earnings and in fact to date even though my website was 100% optimized I have had not one single sale. After repeated requests for a refund, due to the fact that I think I was misled about the viability of the business, and possible earnings I have only ever been told that I had a 7 day period when I purchased it or that I need to get 200 hits a day and if I don't get any kind of meaningful income then after a year I could get my money back, this will never happen as I have no traffic to my site.
All I want is a refund and the chance to forget ever getting involved with Your Own Store.

Me too they are a bunch of crooks and I intend to get my money back by legal means not by getting in to a pointless game of email ping pong with them. Dupedbyyos

No but there is a group of very disgruntled buyers who are seeking ways to get money back etc.
Hopefully there is enough negative feedback to stop anyone else falling prey to their promises.

Well i am one of them, i am ashamed to share with you, i too was fooled and brainwashed by these legal scammers, my damages are significantly more, around $15k.

i have now accepted this as a huge loss and a very big but harsh lesson in business. I will try to absorb the loss and do my very best to make sure this company has a very difficult time selling any more sites in any of their projects. I will now be happy to sacrifice my hard earned cash for the sake of ethics.

im not sure its a scam, but you decide, they set off with good intentions, but must surely know it doesn't work for the vast majority of store owners.... so.... are they stupid or are they crooks ? where is the dividing line....
