I received a text message from a number i do not know (909-837-7687), an by looking at this message while i was driving, i ended up having a rear end car accident, which the traffic was very slow. the text stated " Your entry last month has WON! go to BestBuyWin.net and enter your winning code 5555 to claim your FREE$1000 BestBuy gift card within 24hrs. I had to pay out of pocket $700 for the damage to the other vechicle due to a message received by a phone number i do not know nor do not understand how they got my phone number and if verizon had played a role by giving my number to unknown persons or company...
