In July, I was misled by Viaziz's website into providing them with my creditcard details. They then made an unauthorised charge against my card. My bank reversed the charge on the basis that it was unauthorised and enduced by fraud. If you have been the victim of this fraud, instruct your bank that you did not authorise the charge (this is clear in any case where you did not expressly accept a charge in the usual way) and that you were misled into providing your details via the "free signup" trap that Viaziz has on its website.

  • Hi, I too was caught out this way and on speaking to my bank they do not agree with me saying I was misled. They say that the information is there and I accpted their terms/refund policy. Not good! And on top of that, the initial reverse was given back to them and I was charged another $20 for dispouting it in the first place! Go figure! One big lesson learned here
