Tommy rang me up after I placed an add on UK Karting, I was happy after passing my last exam and with my birthday money was ready to pay for a new helmet. I'd asked for one Arai at 180 and he said his two sons had one each and didn't like karting so he wanted rid, I foolishly agreed to sending this money and when I reached the 10 day mark became concerned.
I rang and rang, his answers were that he was on the rigs and the helmets were in a postal centre in northern Ireland, this triggered alarm bells and I approached the police.
He's done this to 16 people, has now been arrested and as far as I know is due in court.
